A hell messenger arrives on a film set to solve a strange case. Mr. Wu has reached the “Hell airport,” but cannot be reincarnated: his daughter has yet to shed a tear for his death.

Portrait of filmmaker Jae YangJae Yang · Taipei / New York

Jae Yang is a Taiwanese filmmaker known for emotionally rich, intricately woven narratives.

Her films move between intimate family fractures and heightened, surreal worlds. Since 2012, her work has screened internationally at the Tribeca, Krakow, Golden Horse, Pingyao, Kaohsiung, and Women Make Waves film festivals. She is currently developing feature films and series across Taiwan and the international market.
